No. When you push the pipe onto the valve at the back of the fridge the pipe spigot has an arrow shape that the pipe stretches over. Then the valve nut will grip it and prevent it from coming off.
I have one pipe under the floor in my kitchen and now need to move the fridge which needs extra hose. Replacing the existing with a longer length is not an option.

i was given the samsung fridge without a water pipe need to kown how and where to fit.

There is a plumbing fitting at the back on the lower right side. The pipe must connect from the fridge to a suitable water supply (washing machine tap?).
