    If the NTC changes it's resistance reading when at different temperatures is OK, you will need to test the rest of the heater circuit with a multimeter.

I have removed the existing element and checked with a multimeter and iy reads 22 ohms

Hi on a Bosch washer WAE24162 the rinse water is hot, can here the heater element heating the water, would this mean the thermastat needs replacing,it is definitely plumbed in correctly this has been going on for the last month,

    The heating phase is controlled by the PCB and not the thermostat, the thermostat will normally turn the heat off when reached the correct temp on a heating program and not on a rinse.

On my Bosch Classix 6 Vario Perfect WAE24167 UK/40 , when the element is replaced do I have to reset error codes?
