machine makes a grinding noise when spinning also found some pieces of grey plastic in filter could this be from the pump impeller 1 Answer

Hi Geoff, a noise on spin could be the bearings so check them first and examine the pump impellor as something may have hit the impellor so you will need to replace

They do not matter and can be reversed as it is an AC motor.
