Does the old screw have to be removed - if so how?

If you can access the inside of the foot simply push out with a small screwdriver or use a sharp knife to cut away the foot to expose the 'rivet' head and then prise out using a flat blade screwdriver or pliers.

Answer this question

The rubbers on the feet have broken off leaving some of the rubber inside. If I buy replacement feet for it will there be instructions to remove the old ones please?

You will need to remove the metal pin first to get the foot stub out. try to catch the head of the pin with a small flat blade screwdriver and leaver it out. you may need needle nose pliers or possibly may be able to use toe nail cutters.
