To test this switch for a fault is it a case of setting the multimeter to lowest Ohm setting and testing across both terminals?. At present it is showing open circuit. 1 Answer
Dishwasher stopped mid cycle but no fault code. After checking flow through heater that was ok but the thermal switch is showing open circuit so i am hoping this is the fault.

A thermostat should normally read the same as connecting both meter probes together until the correct temperature has been reached. This suggests your thermostat has failed and would explain no heating.
