started making a noise thought it was the bushes so changed them worked ok for a 15 min wash. then tried a 1hr wash got near the end and it started arcing again . also can here a clicking noise when the drum is spun ,checked the front filter nothing in there..

Some times when brushes ware they can damage the armature causing clicking as a raised segment hits the brush. Confirm this and replace the motor if required.
