The main PCB controls the amount of water required, the flow meter counts how much water is entering the dishwasher so the PCB no when to shut off the water valve and start washing the dishes.
Then empties and then keeps refilling until it floods the sump. I dried it all out and tried again. same thing only I turned machine off after about 50mins as water had reached the door seal. I turned off machine and pumped it out, only then did the machine beep and shut down. Prior to this the machine filled and stood idle, so I disconnected the flow switch and blew through and the wash began. all good until the above began. Could it be a faulty flow switch something else?

You will need to check the pressure switch and chamber for a blockage before suspecting anything else.

It is likely to be the inlet valve letting in water.
Lights go on - select program- makes whirring noise, empties but keeps whirring. Does not fill or wash
