  • Just bought this part from espares - brilliant store. Here's how I did it: Look on the bottom side of the dispenser underneath the control panel, and you will see a screw. Remove it and pull out the control panel - The left side will come out easier (your left). Don't worry if the fascia seems to separate and leaves the buttons behind - the fascia is just a piece of adhesive-backed plastic and will push back into place afterwards. If you have had to remove the fascia, you can also remove the silver plastic trim at the top of the panel - this will snap back into place afterwards. Keep pulling out on the left side of the control panel, whilst pulling the right side of the panel to the left - it should come away. There are a good few inches of wiring so there's plenty of play. The top of the lever mechanism has two tabs, on the left and right. Release them and the mechanism will come away from the housing. You can then replace it with a new one and reverse the above process to put it back together. By BaronSilasGreenback - UK - 24 February 2015

The display panel is normally pushed and 'clicks' into position. To remove it use wide flat edges like a credit card or paint scraper. It is difficult to prise away with enough force without marking the display or surround.
