My lock came loose, its an bush electric oven AE56TW

    You would have to split the door to get to the lock, the door would normally have a couple of screws holding it on and when you get to the inside the lock is held in by 2 more screws.

    This item does not come with screws, the old ones need to be reused when fitting the new lock.

Most of cookers have a roller catch on the frame and strike/bolt on the door.This model is different.I dont know how to replace the catch as the part where the catch was is fitted to the door and cant be remove to fix the catch in it

    If the catch is in a box section on the door the cap should be able to be removed to access the lock.

    This lock has to be secured using the old screws, the screws have to tap into the new lock (depending on model the door has to be split or side panel removed).
