If the charger does not put any charge into the battery it is likely to be faulty. If the battery lasts a short time after charge the problem is likely to be the battery.
I replaced battery then replaced charger it fully charged but still not working just pulsing. 1 Answer

My Dyson V6 is put on charge, I use when the blue light comes on then within a few seconds the suction begins to 'pulse' then it stops. Is this the battery? 1 Answer
