My dishwasher has a problem starting. It starts and makes the right noises but does not always pump water into the m,achine so it shuts off with all the different program lights flashing.Would I need to replace with new electronic card..

The flashing lights are indicating an error code for the machine, you need to check the inlet valve and the filling circuit to determine what has failed as you can not test the electronic card.
