Washing Machine Door Seal Restraint Clamp Band

There is a metal/plastic small box at 12 oclock position which the clamp fits into. How do I open this to fit the clamp in? John

The ends of the 'circle' are tensioned to spring out wards and lock to the clamp bracket. use a flat screwdriver to close the end and allow it to slide out of the bracket. do a little on each side to allow the bracket to loosen evenly as this will help when refitting. Use two screwdrivers 'like chopsticks' to pull the tips together when refitting it.
There are two parts to this clamp assembly, the wire ring as shown + a small curved ridged receptical that the wire ends grab on to. Is this included or can I buy this separately ?
