When turning on our tumble dryer the noise sounds as if the inside drum had dropped. Could this be a problem with the belt? 1 Answer

Hi. I have a TS12W dryer, given by my father so do not know exactly how old it is but am fairly certain it is at least 12 years old. There is a label on the back which has a number in small print - 373500045 - not sure if this is the serial No or not? The hand book has June 2004 printed on the back. The old belt is approx 1580mm long / 503mm diameter with 5 ribs. The numbers on the belt - as far as I can make out are - 3734-00004-15781-15. I think this is the correct belt for this machine, can you confirm please. Many thanks, Rob
