To replace the bulb in the microwave you have to remove the cabinet, due to the high voltages the capacitor would have to be safely discharged by a qualified person to work on them and for this reason, we do not give out advice on microwave repairs.
HELP, bulb gone in microwave and have no idea how to change it, can anyone help please

To replace bulbs in most microwaves you would have to remove the cabinet, this could allow you to accidentally come into contact with the high voltage that is used to power the microwave. This could easily prove to be fatal and for this reason eSpares recommend that you do not remove the case unless you have been trained to work on microwaves.
