Replaced the heater and thermostats, dryer works and is hot but then after a few mins it blows cold 1 Answer

Most Timers turn the heating off as it runs for the last ten minutes to ensure the dryer does not stop hot. Set for 35 mins and check briefly after ten minutes and again ten minutes after that. If It still is hot but cools during the last ten minutes it is normal.
Hoover SIX Reverse TV630. On pressing start button a buzzing sound was heard and had to keep start button pressed in to keep dryer working. Replaced the on/off switch a few weeks ago and although there was a short buzz (lasting a couple of seconds) on pressing start button it worked with out any problem. This afternoon the original problem has returned, with the tumble dryer not working when pressure is removed from the on button.
