To date i have replaced the following, 1, Pressure washer cylinder head 2, Pressure washer control head set With the base unit cover off' When i apply slight pressure to the water inlet hose and angle nipplel the water pressure increases, when i release the pressure the water pressure drops.

Hi Rooster, I'd have a look at the pump - cracks are a telltale sign. Check the water flow from when it comes in from the garden hose right up to the handgun, checking for any signs of damage.
