I suddenly have a leak from the base of the handgun (comnig through the handle) and assume it's a new gasket I require - I can't see an old / perished one that'd need replacing though. The male end of the hose seems to lock in snuggly still, is there another gasket within the handle casing or am I best trying an 'O ring' perhaps? Any advice welcomed!

Hi Timlaz, this gasket does indeed fit the K5.20M. You can see the gaskets available for your washer here: http://www.espares.co.uk/parts/pressure-washers/karcher/k5.20m/p/1315/877/0/546055?k=gasket I can't guarantee these will stop your washer from leaking as there's a large number of causes to the problem.
