i've got a classic 110df lpg range and the main burner has a large yellow flame I took out the injector to clean it and the number printed on the side (#60) is different to the number in my book (#87) what does this mean do I have the wrong one fitted and if so where can I get one from

The figure of 87 is a larger jet for Natural gas and the 60 fitted is likely to be correct for LPG If the cooker had previously worked correctly. The likely cause of the problem is the burner crown and should not be used until the fault has been resolved as it is likely to be creating excessive carbon monoxide. We recommend that only people registered with the Gas Safe Register make this type of repair. Maybe a good option for you would be to use a repair company like "Repaircare" who offer a fixed price option.
