Element already replaced, so it seems it's a thermostat perhaps? Which one though? Grill works fine.

Confirm that the oven can regulate at a low temperature and the thermostat cuts out correctly. If this is OK check the cooling fan and ventilation around the oven.

The fault is likely to be the thermostat not this part. For more information see our video: http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/1/2145/how-to-diagnose-problems-with-your-oven
Hi, my AEG 41056vi-mn oven is working properly except: when using the oven at a relatively high temperature, after heating for a while it just shuts down for a few minutes (10-20), the light stays on though. It then restarts by itself and all go well. However, this behavior is new and its frequency increases and the temperature drop will ruin some food recipes. So which component is most likely broken? In case it is the overheat protection thermostat, do you have a video showing where it is (like that excellent demo for the main thermostat)? Thanks,

It is likely the main thermostat is not controlling the temperature causing overheating and cutting out. check whether the temperature does regulate and replace the main thermostat if required.
my oven works up to temp and then all the power gose and it turns its self off also is this the rite part for my electrolux eob5630 Thanks

Hi Sunman, it sounds like the thermal cutout or the thermostat is broken in your oven. I couldn't tell you for sure which one it was without seeing it though. Sorry!
