I'm assuming that the buzzing and clock/timing problems are as a result of a faulty timer. If I buy this, and it does not cure the problem, can I return the unit for a refund?
- yes you are right.mine went the same way with the buzzer continually sounding..eventually the clock will revert to 12:00 with no way to change it.Swap it out with this unit.If you buy the unit and dont take the plastic protective cover off it just plug the spade connectors onto the back of it you can see it working.mine worked a treat.

Hi Mickoliver, if the clock/timer doesn't sort your problem, you can return it to us for a full refund or a replacement part. Check out our full returns and refunds policy here: http://www.espares.co.uk/returnsandrefunds.aspx
The timer is located behind a glass panel which is kept in place by plastic profiles to the top and bottom as well as to both sides. I guess the side profiles come of but I do not want to break them, so do you have any tips.

Hi plmoeke, there should be fixings, either screws or clips, that keep the panels around and in front of the timer assembly in place. You may need to retrace backwards from the timer assembly area, as you may need to remove several parts to get to the timer.
timer buzzer and clock not maintaining time and countdown. Keeps reverting to flashing 12.00. If I buy this part is it easy to fit? Instructions and 1 Answer
advice on fitting this part, please. Your stock no: ES613035 Cooker model Zanussi ZDF 290X, serial no:60400123. p.n.c. 944171288. Many thanks. Kate Sims
- yes it is very easy to fit. There are four wires on the back of it if I remember and these have spade connectors so just push on.The plastic surround that comes with the replacement can be taken off by lifting the tabs on the surround and pulling the clock out in the middle.do the same for the original one. Then simply click the new clock piece into the older fixedplastic cover on the door.
