Fridge Freezer Water Dispenser Double Solenoid Valve
If you are finding that the water from your household supply is not working through your pipes and into your fridge’s water dispenser, it could be time to replace the solenoid valve. The solenoid valve is an electrical component that opens when current is applied to it and allows the appliance to fill with water.
eSpares has this replacement valve, that could soon be fitted in your fridge, to get your appliance back in full working order.

My American style fridge freezer trips my mains when I use the cold water dispenser.Would this be due to a faulty solenoid valve or possibly an electronic problem. 1 Answer
All other functions work normally, also the ice maker fills with no problem. If you think this is a solenoid problem, could you tell me where it is located and how to replace please.

If is tripping the electrics you would need to fault trace through the circuit to determine what component is failing. we do not currently have a video on this type of repair.
Hi there The fresh cold water facility on my LG Fridge Freezer has stopped working, however the ice maker continues to work. On looking in the back of the Fridge Freezer today I have found that the refrigerator water valve is getting water in and happily feeding water to the ice maker but no water is coming out to the fresh water facility. When I push a pin up through where the water should be coming out from on this valve, it opens up and water comes through. However as soon as I take it out it stops. I am unclear whether there is anything else I can do to get this working or whether I need this replacement part. Any advise you can give would be much appreciated. Thanks
- sounds like a stuck solenoid! a new valve assy should fix it
