my integrated fridge freezer is 17 years old. We have replaced the plastic bush several times over the years with no problem, but this time the whole in the metal door that the bush fits into at the top is worn and is not holding the bush properly. 1 Answer
This means that although the fridge door is closing ok because it has dropped the wooden door keeps pulling the fridge door open. Any suggestions apart from buying a new fridge door?

If the hole in the door has become too large then it will be difficult to pack it and the only alternative will be a new door.
I can move the door on my integrated fridge about 1 to 2 cm's up then it drops back down under its own weight. Is this typical of a worn hinge support socket and would it be fixed by replacing both the upper and lower socket? Also do they come in pairs or do I have to buy two separate sockets? Thx

The top hinge only pivots. before ordering the lower pivot remove the door and check the socket this fits to. It may be due to the combined weight of the door and the products in the shelves that the pivot socket has started to break out of the door.
