The start switch has stopped making the clicking sound and does not switch off itself and also the clothes are not dryingwe have to remove plug from socket to switch it off.please advise what could be wrong and how to fix. thanks

    Hi, one of the thermostats control the temperature in the dryer. The others are safety cut-out thermostats which act much like a fuse - tripping to prevent the circuit being shorted. This is the thermostat which is used for heating the dryer.
