Whist my candy dishwisher has been running for 10/ 15 mins you get a burning smell then it trips the rcd fuse? Whats causing this ??

During this time it is likely to be heating the water and using a lot of power. Check for signs of burning on the door switch replacing if required. If no signs of burning are found suspect the heating element.

Hi again rebecca. My guess is still the element - unfortunately I couldn't tell without actually seeing the washer.
my dishwasher gets stuck just after i have switched it on and no heat is generated while it works, I need to click the nob forward once and then again later on in the cycle,aprt form that it works fine, Im presuming its the element, it empties etc. 1 Answer

Hi rebecca, if the water in the dishwasher isn't heating up, it's overwhelmingly likely that the element is damaged.
