My machine (WVD24460) seems to be taking an excessive time to dry things (2H 31M for 0.57Kg dry weight of cotton vest plus the rest cotton/synthetic mixture - setting "intensive"). Power being taken is approx 1,650Kw. I wonder if one of the drying elements has gone. The Bosch customer service line was not helpful. They said that they were unable to answer technical queries.

The instruction book gives the following: Intensive Dry 2,5 kg 1.83 kWh 30.6 l 1:51 h Gentle Dry 1,5 kg 1.16 kWh 29 l 1: 27 h Note the weight of the wash load for these figures. Heavier loads will take considerably longer. Your figure is close enough to indicate the elements are ok and power may vary depending on mains voltage.
