One of the gas control tap/knob is stuck in the off position, i`ve tried cleaning & oiling it with WD40 but still didn`t work. i need to get to it to remove & change it but i can`t get the panal off, in front of all the gas taps, please tell me how to get to the tap. MY gas cooker is CANNON ,model no. 10518G mk2

Hi Raj, there should be some screws holding it in to place and you may have to remove the hob assembly to get to them. However, I'd advise you to not try this fix it yourself - get a Gas Safe registered engineer!
