If the motor 'pulses' when spraying we suggest trying a different lance as if restricted it will cause this problem. If cutting off for minutes after running for a while suspect the motor itself.

Answer this question

When I removed the water pipe, hot scalding water came out scalding my hand. Fallowed by hot steam.. Is the motor seized? The motor made a funny noise before it stopped working completely.

This does look like a resettable motor protection that cuts out if excessive current is drawn by the motor.
