Hi there Im a qualified electrican. Had a quick look at customers oven, but only removed back to reveal element connections, and not top to get to riostats etc. Digital timeclock working, switch on either oven or grill, fan starts, red temp lights on front come on. Measure voltage at rear, getting 230v ok live of elements to earth, but no neutral. So when I measure between element terminals wether grill or oven, nothing. Cant get wiring diagrams for these anywhere. I assume riostats switch the live & not neutral ??. Is there any saftey stat or themocouple that can fail, cutting off the neutral ?? Thanks for your help Steve

We do not have access to the wiring diagram so can only give general advise on this appliance. The usual cause of this problem is loose or burnt 'jumper' links in the terminal box where the cable comes in. If the box is OK and tight look for a thermal cut out near the top of the oven and trace the neutral connections back to the terminal block. Most if not all modern Appliances switch the live and not the neutral to an element.
