    The fault is likely to be due to the element but may not be able to prove without replacement.

my oven keeps tripping the rcd.so I fiited a new oven element still takeing the rcd out.after 10 mins the grill is also tripping the rcd.the oven fan is ok ran that for 20 mins all ok.do you think it is the thermostat or the temperature limiter. ta

    The problem is most likely to be one of the heating elements that is breaking down when hot. I would replace the fan element first, The grille second and the lower element (if fitted) last.

    Yes, if the cooling fan is faulty or it has poor air circulation outside the oven. Or A faulty thermostat causing excessive heat this will occur. if everything else is ok replace this part.

    It sounds like the main thermostat has gone short and is not turning off and regulating the temperature.
