The active ingredient in one sachet of cleaner is only 5 grammes of Sulphamic acid per treatment around 60 grammes per year. A very small amount that would be extremely diluted but you should check advise from your sewage contractor if in doubt.
The type is like a normal front loader but with a lifting lid and a door in the drum, not a twin tub.

It is possible (but in our opinion unlikely) that using this product could increase the chance of the appliance leaking so it has this warning. This would apply to most if not all other descaling remedies.

This will work in a soft water area and remove the limescale and detergent build up inside the machine.
I've used the Cleaner on at least 4 occasions recently and its still leaving mucky bits on my clothes. What's more worrying is that its now started leaving black bits that look like oily marks on my clothes, which I cannot remove. Im now scared to use my machine - is there anything else you can suggest? Please Help?

I've noticed the rubber around the door area of my washing machine is mucky, most likely a build up of detergent, will this product help this also? 1 Answer
The dirt is in the folds of the rubber.

As we say in the video attached 'If the mould has stained the seal it may not completely clean off' but it will remove any surface contamination and smells so the staining itself will not be a problem.

Yes we would recommend using a full sachet when cleaning.
