If there are 2 plugs together I.e washing machine and tumble dryer, can they be switched off separately. 3 Answers

PLease note these sockets are only suitable up to a maximum load of 1200 watts each.
- I am surprised at this answer from Chris of eSpares. As the switches only have a maximum rating of 1200W (according to the spec), I would not recommend them for a Tumble dryer or Washing Machine (which may take 2000 - 3000W.

This product is not compatible with the Alexa home connect, it has its own remote control supplied to control the sockets.
Would this product be satisfactory to use as a controller for a driveway light. The socket would be inside the garage and the outdoor light plugged into it. I would have the remote control in the car on the road about 15 metres away. G Johnson
