- Just use the 2 x AA batteries that are required. NB they have to be brought separate from any shop selling electricals. The batteries are cheap,but if you buy a slightly dearer one it will reward you many times over with less changing periods. Good luck, Les,

We are not aware of any other fitting method, however as this is a small unit it could be placed in many different areas around your house depending on the surface it is being mounted to.

Batteries are not supplied with this product so would depend on what batteries are fitted, would normally expect to change them annually.

These are unlikely to be weather proof but the flashing light will probably remain working for some time even if some water does enter.
