Genuine spare part for select Ariston, Creda, Crusader, Electra, Hotpoint, Indesit, Jackson and Proline tumble dryers
i have Hotpoint TC71N needs new thermostats ...but no idea how to find date code ... description says IMPORTANT 64 or 65
- After phoning you I discovered that the date code is the first 2 characters of the serial number, in my case 78101179. This makes mine 78 which is later than 64/65 so the parts should be OK. The serial number is inside the drum on the left.

replacement thermostats have green and yellow dots on them - originals are blue and white how do they match up colour wise? 1 Answer

The thermostat with the green spot has a raised part between the two connectors that will be the same as the original.
In the thermostat kit, one thermostat has a yellow spot, and one a green spot. How do I know which is which, and where are they to be placed. There were no spots on the original thermostats. 1 Answer

In this kit the safety stat has the green spot and will match the thermostat with a raised part between the two connectors.

Is there a way of cleaning the thermostat on Hotpoint condenser TDC32N without replacing it 1 Answer

Cleaning the thermostat will not usually affect whether it is faulty or not.
Fitted new heating element and thermostats to drier (hot point tcm65a) and all working fine initially. Now blowing cold air again. Ideas? 1 Answer

If stopped when hot the thermal cut out will fail, you must ensure the machine is allowed to finish a cycle or it will cause the cut out to fail.
My creda advance condenser dryer is blowing cold air,how do I know if I need a thermostat or heating element? Thanks 1 Answer

If there is no sign of damage to the heater it is likely the thermostat has failed. This could be checked with a meter like: Stock Number ES1741061 for continuity.
