- That answer is wrong! 'As the hose connect's to a plastic fitting'.Which is then pushed on to the outlet hole,Then locked into place,with a clockwork turn.

- It fits exactly on the back of your dryer and there is no connecting part required. Hope this helps.
We have a white knight tumble dryer where the hose fittings( plastic bracket) on each end have cracked, can we get the end pieces replaced, or do they come attached to the hose?
- Every dryer has the connexion piece attached to the dryer. The new hose is threaded into the connexion. It could be some people throw this connexion piece away when the dispose of the old hose
- Don't know where you can buy them but they don't come attached to the hose.
- No the hose comes on its own. I don't know if you can get the hose fittings seperately.
- Will the house fit into a front vented dryer?

WE HAVE A C44A7W AND THE CURRENT HOSE IS NOT LONG ENOUGH, AND WE WANT TO ADD ANOTHER 3 METRES. DO WE NEED AN ADAPTOR?
- Try the three metre one first, I bought an adapter to join two together (not from eSpares as I didn't know they did one) but found a three metre hose was long enough anyway.

Hi Shaucepan, the hose simply 'stretches' round the mounted vent on your dryer.

There should be an access panel at the back located at the bottom of the dryer, you can unscrew it to gain access to the hose that connects to banjo assembly.
I bought a vent hose elsewhere and the wire spiralled the wrong way meaning it could not be threaded into the plastic attachment to fit onto tumble dryer

This is a standard dryer hose and will fit all UK appliances.
Indesit IDV75 keeps cutting out, is this due to vent tube getting squashed?

If the vent hose is being restricted due to the way it is being vented, it is likely to cause air flow problems causing the dryer to cut out. Check the dryer is not blocked inside and test the thermostats to ensure they are working correctly.
