Pressure Washer K2-K7 Sandblaster Kit Stock Number: ES552678
Ideal for removing rust, paint and stubborn dirt using Karcher abrasive
(K2) Could it be used to clean/remove algae from the keel of a yacht or would the pressure damage the gel coat as i think the pressure is not controllable 1 Answer

This product will remove the algae but as this is a powerful kit it may not be suitable as it can remove paint and will probably remove the gel coating.
e.g. BLACK SPOTS

Using this on a car is not recommended as it will strip the paint work as well as any dirt. It is mainly used for removing stubborn dirt on solid metals (for example BBQ's). Hope this helps.
I want to strip paint from very old timber without damaging the detail (fretwork). Can a Karcher be both powerful enough to strip yet precise and gentle enough not to damage the detail?

This is quite a heavy duty tool and I would not advise using it in this case.

Hi Rostylewheel, the sandblaster kit takes fine kiln dried sand, between 0.4mm and 0.6mm grade.
