When I turn on the dishwasaher its makes crunching noises and also when its trying to drain. Also it did leak over the kitchen floor once. Will this sort the problem? 1 Answer

The noise is likely to be coming from the pump so replacing it is likely to cure your problem.
I have a diplomat dishwasher about 8 years old. water is draining from drain hole in base of machine about 2-3" from front middle, not from inlets. Goes though fill cycle and dribbles about 1 pint water onto floor, OK for wash and drain cycles. Any ideas?

If it only leaks while filling it is either over filling or the water is backing up as it flows to the sump. Take of the side and identify any open hoses or chambers that the water could escape from, Also take the base off and examine for damaged hoses. It sounds like water has filled the shallow tray in the base turning on the anti flood switch. Disconnect and tilt the machine 45 degrees to one side and if water runs from the base remove the base panel and dry. Examine for signs of leaks or damage, if none found reassemble and retry.
