Remember, always make sure your appliance has been switched off and disconnected from the mains before carrying out any work, repairs or replacements.

First things first, you'll need to remove the faulty paddle from the inside of the washing machine. For this particular model, you'll need to push down the tab under the paddle's third hole from the side closest to the door. You can use a tool such as a screwdriver to do this. As you push down, pull the paddle forwards with your other hand and it will come free. Again, this process may differ slightly depending on your specific model of washing machine.
