I have a Zanussi ZWF1221F washing machine which is'nt getting rid of water and after a spin cycle the clothes are still pretty wet. Could it be the pump?.

Thanks for rugbyscrumdown input but this is unlikely. A modern machine will not try and spin until the water level has reached empty. If this is not achieved within a few minutes the machine will usually shut down in a 'fault mode' with the remaining water in the drum. This would not just leave damp clothes but water in the drum as you unloaded.
- possible slight blockage, have you cleaned the filter? If you run the machine on spin only after the end is it still wet? if not it is slightly blocked up, 1/4 packet of household soda crystals on 60 deg wash will sort it out( if you are in a hard water area)
