High Quality Replacement Washing Machine Drain Pump
If you notice that the water is not being drained away as usual, it could be due to a faulty drain pump. The drain pump in your washing machine is a key component of the washing process, as it removes the waste water from the drum of the machine at the end of the wash cycle.
eSpares could help you get back to water draining ways again not leaving water at the bottom of the machine with this replacement spare drain pump. We can soon get you back to a fully working washing machine, so you can get through the pile of laundry piling up at home!

I have a Zanussi ZWF1221F washing machine which is'nt getting rid of water and after a spin cycle the clothes are still pretty wet. Could it be the pump?. 3 Answers

Thanks for rugbyscrumdown input but this is unlikely. A modern machine will not try and spin until the water level has reached empty. If this is not achieved within a few minutes the machine will usually shut down in a 'fault mode' with the remaining water in the drum. This would not just leave damp clothes but water in the drum as you unloaded.
- possible slight blockage, have you cleaned the filter? If you run the machine on spin only after the end is it still wet? if not it is slightly blocked up, 1/4 packet of household soda crystals on 60 deg wash will sort it out( if you are in a hard water area)

If the drum is not full of water it is draining correctly. The most likely cause of your problem is out of balance. For more information see our video: How to Prevent a Washing Machines Spinning Noisily http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/7/2401/how-to-prevent-a-washing-machines-spinning-noisily-

there's a possibility of something being stuck in your drain pipe or pump check to see if there is ant blockage. If you find that nothing is causing the drain pipe or pump to be blocked then yes you will require a new pump. The drain pump above maybe suitable for your model, we recommend you check the specifications in the description.

This pump is universal and does not have any direct model associations. Please check the pump type and specifications to ensure a correct fit. Please view our advice centre page which will give you more information on draining problems http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/7/1732 The model in this video may be different to yours, however the process should be similar for other makes and models.

The problem with your machine is likely to be a build up of mould and bacteria probably caused by not allowing the drum to dry out between washes. For more information see our video: http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/7/1524/how-to-use-limescale-and-detergent-remover
I have a samsung washing machine B1415J. The water comes into the machine and is drained out continuosly without the water pump being on. Also gives an E9 error. Can anyone help Please.
- The machine is syphoning.Check your outlet hose is not rammed down the pipe also check the stand pipe is 18 inches high. The fault code is telling you that the water is being drained from the machine

H Nash, it sounds as if the problem is with either the sump hose (the hose that drains the drum down to the pump) or the pump. Check both for damage, and replace as necessary.
I have a Tecnik washing machine model no TKL9060 which due to a short curcuit is now not working properly. An engineer said that it would be too costly to repair as it was a problem with the motor but if I replaced the motor pump would that solve the problem I wonder as all the programmes seem to be there on the control panel but it just makes a low whirring sound with no movement
- OK,when an engineer talks about a motor he means the main motor NOT the pump.Main motors tend to be very expensive to replace.Replacing the pump will make no difference.
