Washing Machine 30mm Bearing & Seal Kit
Can you hear the bearings grind during the wash cycle? If the drum in your washing machine is making crunching noises, it could be due to a faulty bearing. The bearings for the drum in your washing machine help rotate the drum, and so perform an important part of the washing process.
The bearing seals are an integral part of the washing machine too, as they stop water and external moisture from entering the bearings. Over time bearings can become weak, and if you have damaged seals, this would be one of the factors as to why. With these new bearing seals, you can ensure that your bearings do not get worn.
eSpares could soon help you out with this problem, with this replacement washing machine bearing and seal kit. You could soon be back to a fully working washing machine, for you to be able to carry on with the washing with confidence in a better performing machine.

the model no is first edition wma9
- not sure what size you need but my advise is make sure you can get the old one out of the housing before you order new ones. So you be able to measure the shaft. Half drum assemble the new bearings fit might be the best option

Check if your model is an IWC61451, if it is the drum on your machine is not repairable as it is welded together and cannot be parted and re sealed after bearing replacement. It is likely to be cheaper to have a fixed price repair with Repaircare than replace the drum unit Stock Number: ES871622
So far so good .. but cannot separate the drum spindle from the rear bearing. I see mention here on another question that a sledge hammer had to be used before success? I've not reached that stage yet but copious amounts of penetrating fluid, persuasion with a mallet and carefully administered heat hasn't helped me so far. Any advice?

Hold the inner and outer tub about 12 to 24 inches above a hard block of wood and allow to drop onto the end of the spindle. The shock and inertia will usually release it.
- I suggest you dismantle and measure old bearings first, I didn't and it cost me Time and money
- Yes. Inner bearing is 30mm and outer 25mm. But you must fit a new seal! Use steam heat to expand bearing holder to ease bearing removal and replacement.
