You will need to examine the element and test it with a multimeter if ok check when you select a temperature is the light going out when it reaches the correct temp as this will indicate if the thermostat is working correctly.
Cooker is a Hotpoint EW74G. Top oven and hob are working well. I have replaced the element and fan but still not working. If this is the thermostat please recommend parts required. The problem is the main oven.
