You need to test the fan to determine if it has failed but it is the most likely.

Answer this question

Hi, Wondering if anyone bought this due to a loud rattling coming from the oven when it starts to heat. Our oven rattles (99% sure it's the fan/motor) continuously during use and I don't want to buy the wrong part? Any help would be great

This is likely to be the problem if the noise occurs when the fan (visible through the holes in the cover) is rotating. If when hot the noise occurs after this fan stops the problem is likely to be the cooling fan at the top of the machine.
