The element is normally secured from the inside, remove the back panel and you will see the element fixing screws.
I have removed the front cover from inside the rear of the oven only to find that the element is secured by two screws at the REAR of the actual cooker! I don't know if this is the correct element or the higher rating element is or do they both screw in from the rear of the actual cooker and not from inside the oven?? Can you advise as I need to order part as soon as possible. Thanks

This element screws from the inside but make sure you check the element is correct for your model before ordering.
Thanks for the video, but I stupidly put the terminals back on incorrectly and plugged the live to earth and v.v. When I switched on there was a pop and now nothing works. element still show OK on a ohm meter, but there's no power to any of the three ovens. Any idea please? Is there a fuse or cutout I need to check/change?

If the cooker is hard wired it will have taken out the fuse in the fuse board or if it has trips it would have tripped that circuit, check that before suspecting anything else.
i've ordered my replacement element but your video shows it held in place by 3 screws? mine seems to have screw threads but no screw heads? as if it was fitted from the back? how do i get it off please?? 1 Answer

You would need to take the oven out to gain access at the back of the oven, the screws are removed from the back
