My flymo turbo 380 the impeller blade has pushed to the top of the "skirt".It will only turn by hand. When it was first turned a grey plastic disc fell out. Can this problembe fixed by a novice?
- Yes the grey plastic bit that fell out is your belt retaining disk, just refit this or replace it with a new one if it is damaged. It doesn’t take long and is very easy to do.

Hi Captjohn, sounds like you need a new spacer washer. Find 'em here: http://www.espares.co.uk/part/lawnmowers/flymo/turbo-compact-vision-380/p/1116/283/0/552842/929969/flymo-lawnmower-spacer-wa.html?ms=5138110019
- No this item fits on to the belt drive just under the impeller and on top of the belt, when you get this item it will indicate which side of the disk needs to face the fan this is the side that faces the impeller. It’s very easy to replace this part and you will kick yourself for ever worrying about it once you have done it.

Hi Butch This belt retaining disc fits straight on to the top of the impeller, and is compatible with several different Flymo lawn mowers. Please note this one of many genuine Flymo parts we carry, so feel free to check back if ever you need any more Flymo parts.

There could be a number of reasons for this the most likely is either the belt is not tight enough to prevent it slipping or there is misalignment or play in the drive pulleys.
I've ordered this part and the belt for Turbo Vision Compact 380. The belt thickness is around 10-12mm thick, but the outer edge of the disc is only around 5 mm wide. Should the central groove on the inside of the belt be aligned up with the outer lip of the disc ? That would mean that one half of the belt is not in contact with the disc.

This part fits between the impeller and the lawnmower drive assembly. the belt fits around the drive hub and this sits on top of the hub to stop the belt coming off.
on dismantleing my turbo compact 330, i found i had two belt retaining discs on top of each other. one is about 3mm deeper than the other one. both have the same number on them (5139619). the deeper one is damaged. are there different types for this mower?
