I have a Hoover DYC 7813nb tumble dryer, it does heat up but stops heating on a e14 error code. I have tested the resistance across the thermostat whilst off and there is no resistance, is this correct. 1 Answer

No, thermostats should measure low resistance as if you touched the probes together until it reaches the running temperature.
