My dryer wasnt drying properly, not much water in drawer, so when I had cleaned condenser thoroughly, it still didnt dry well, in bottom, behind condenser it was full of water. I have mannaged to clean all this out, slime too (yuk!!) and it then dried clothes but water drawer only half full, which indicates (I think) either a problem with pump either being blocked or not pumping properly - what can I do?

There is a high pitched squealing sound coming from the pump, is this indicative of the pump failing? 1 Answer
The dryer still works but the noise is unbearable. I understand that the pump is constant and not controlled by the float switch.

A noise coming from the pump may indicate an issue, check there is not a blockage causing the pump to make a noise.
