Dishwasher NTC Thermal Sensor Stock Number: ES1603554
Genuine spare part for select models of Beko and Blomberg dishwashers
Dishwasher washes a full cycle but doesn't heat up! I have tested my heater and its 30 ohms. I can't actually reach this item so before I start ripping up the washer what does it actually do? If this part is OK, what else is there in the heating circuit?

This is a sensor so unlikely to cause no heat. For information on this problem see our diagnosis video: How to Diagnose Dishwasher leaking and heating problems www.espares.co.uk/advice/3/2083
My dishwasher is using ice cold water. I have already changed the heating element but did not work. Will this part help me? 1 Answer

We are sorry but do not have a video. The part should be fitted in the plastic sump under the wash cavity and accessed by removing the base of the machine.
Could you tell me what the resistance of this is at room temperature or under a load please? 1 Answer

We do not have that information but most NTC sensors have a typical resistance of 2k ohms to 10 k ohms.
What is the purpose of this part? i am slightly confused. This is for beko dishwasher DW 450 which will not drain, i have checked everything, however when i activate the float switch, the drain pump will operate, any ideas?

The NTC is used to monitor the water temperature during the wash and dry parts of the programme. It is normal for the drain pump to run if the float is raised i.e. when flooded. If the cycle heats the water and stops when it should drain then it is likely the control board may be faulty.
