Any idea why some of these have fallen out of the extractor fan hood onto the grease filters? 1 Answer
Heard something falling while it was on and there is now a small pile of them on the filter

You need to check the filter has been sealed correctly if it is allowing the chips to come out.
How do you refill the bosch activated charcoal filter for the above model with charcoal chips? How many do I need?

It will depend on if you can open your filter you will either have to remove the filter felt from the case or on some filters you may have to separate the plastic moulded frame as it may have been welded in production. Check the filter to ensure you can open them and reseal after replacement first before ordering.

You cannot use these unless you can open your charcoal filter to replace the contents.
The framework of the filter is a white plastic (?neoprene?) and the top and bottom are covered by a black cloth (?carbon impregnated). The replacement filter is around £-- which is very hefty for such a simple device. Any clue to prizing the cloth off to get at the carbon chips would be appreciated. Many thanks.

The original filter is designed to be replaced complete. However it may be possible to remove the old 'screens' and replace them with material from Stock Number: ES131936
ARE THE 2 GREASE FILTERS ON THE ABOVE MODEL WHICH ARE MADE OF FINE MESH WASHABLE

The metal grease filters can be washed but should not be put in a dishwasher. If your carbon filters can be opened this product should be suitable to replace the carbon granules.

This can be used to change the granules in most carbon filters if you can open them and reseal after replacement so check your old filter first before ordering.

Yes as long as you can part the case and reassemble it after you can replace the carbon inside.
