Hi. This kit is listed as not compatible with the Indesit IDC85, and I see that there are no screws inside the drum for the drum shaft. Can this model still be fixed using the method described in the video, and is there a compatible kit or do individual components need to be ordered. Many thanks

There is now a kit specifically for the riveted type drum shafts Stock Number: ES1672507 order the correct type for your dryer.
- I angle ground out the welded shaft and fitted the new shaft kit on top of the old one - using holes around the welded section. Works so far. Would advise gloves when doing work on tumble dryers - as my hands look like I have been arm wrestling Freddie Kruger

We believe you can carefully drill out the 'riveting' on the shaft and screw the new kit on. It is worth trying this as even if it is unsuccessful you will not have lost anything as at the moment you require a new drum complete.

Having now refurbished the above dryer with parts provided by yourselves everything has gone to plan. The final task was to replace the damaged jockey wheel pulley and fit the belt. This proved to be a terrible task.To fit the original belt I had to move the drum closer to the motor but when fitted it was too slack and turning the motor did not turn the drum.I assumed the belt had stretched as it was cracked anyway so I have ordered a replacement. The jockey pulley does not have a tensioner so fitting a new belt would seem to be impossible. Most videos I have looked at the belt is connected from drum to motor others using a jockey pulley have a tensioner. Is there some clever way to fit this belt.
