This is usually fitted on the fan duct under the hob top.
The fan oven on my Rangemaster 110DF Green only works sometimes. Just replaced the heating ring and had a bit of a clean up! It worked twice since and no more. The light is on but there's no heat! Is this a thermostat problem or a thermal cut out switch? 1 Answer
- switch of main electric power to the cooker, and check the thermal cut out switch to se if any air line cracks in the porcalane and replace with new one this should solve your problem.
My oven is getting hotter than the temperature set. Do I need a new thermostat or a new thermal cut out? Many thanks, Steven 1 Answer

Hi there. It could well be either causing the oven to get too hot - you're best to try testing both components with a multimeter to ascertain which is damaged.
The old cut out was broken and I can't tell which wires to connect up to it is it the earth from the Rings (middle spade clip) and the green wire that is also 'loose' or 'spare' and does it matter to which of the cutout spades they go to? 1 Answer

Hello Malcolm, I don't want to give you the wrong advice here - usually I'd say wire the new one exactly as your old one was wired, but because there seems to be multiple wires whose function I'm unsure of, I'd recommend talking to an electrician.
Will this part fit my appliance?
